An O'Brien placerette is hand turned and approximately 1.5 inches in a peanut shape with a single diamond painting tip on each end. The photo shows examples of some we have turned in the past (not the one you will receive). Every blank is turned by hand so final results will differ - no two pens are exactly alike. Colors and patterns may vary based on the dye lot and pouring process. Shapes may vary based on the hand turning process.

We are a family team that has been in business since 2018. We have created and shipped thousands of items to customers worldwide. We hand turn acrylic/wood blanks on a lathe into diamond painting pens or other items. Most of our work is done as custom orders. We have developed a library of basic shapes and allow the customer to choose a style they would like. Our diamond painting pens are turned freehand, we do not make exact sizes or dimensions, and we emphatically do not copy other turners designs. Different blanks have different limitations, we like to use the term "...as possible" (as thin as possible or as thick as possible). That said, over time we have developed a business model that allows our customers to chose virtually any pen blank (baring structural limitations) from virtually any vendor and have us turn it to virtually any shape and thickness they can describe (again, baring the limitations mentioned above).
